2012 will see the first ever Covington Summer Bash. The Bash will be a two day festival July 6th, and 7th, 2012. The Covington Summer Bash comes in response the overwhelming reaction within the community following the Covington 175th Anniversary Festival in the summer of 2010. The organizer of the 175th have committed to what is for now a one-time festival in 2012 which will follow a similar to the format of the 175th Festival

The Covington Summer Bash to feature
"the return of The Return!"

Due to an unbelievable number of requests in the time since the 175th, the Covington Summer Bash will feature a performance by The Return. The Return is one of the most sought after Beatles tribute bands in the country. The Return has played everywhere from Liverpool to the studios at Abbey Road. Hard Rock Café was so impressed by The Return that they asked them to headline their 30th Anniversary Tour. They are so authentic, that the Return was even invited to appear on Good Morning America. The Return will perform starting at 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 7th, in downtown Covington.

For those of you who were lucky enough to see The Return at the 175th, they now feature songs from the later Beatles albums. Current plans are for the first half of the show to be the early Beatles, and the second half of their performance will feature classics such as “Here Comes the Sun”, “Come Together”, and “Back in the USSR.” This is a night not to be missed.
